1. Service-provider information
The legal service provider responsible for an appointment will be identified in the confirmation, estimate, work order, or invoice. Quick TV Setup may coordinate with qualified technicians or service partners. The applicable provider is responsible for maintaining credentials required for the authorized work it performs.
2. Local licensing and permit requirements
Ordinary attachment of customer equipment and low-voltage device connection may be treated differently across jurisdictions. Other work—including branch-circuit electrical work, structural modification, certain low-voltage work, fire-rated penetrations, or regulated commercial installations—may require a separately licensed trade, permit, inspection, or building approval.
We will not represent a scope as licensed or permitted unless the applicable requirement has been addressed. If an installation requires work outside the authorized provider’s credentials or agreed scope, that portion may be excluded, postponed, or referred to an appropriately licensed professional.
3. Electrical work boundaries
Standard AV appointments do not include new branch-circuit wiring, panel work, hardwired outlet installation, or other regulated electrical work unless an appropriately licensed provider and that exact scope are confirmed in writing. Where permitted, a listed power relocation product may be offered as a distinct installation option. Extension cords and ordinary flexible power cords are not routed inside walls unless the product and method are specifically approved for that use.
4. Insurance
Insurance coverage applies according to the responsible service provider’s active policy, terms, limits, exclusions, and service scope. Website statements are general descriptions and do not amend an insurance policy or create coverage. Commercial buildings, property managers, and associations should provide certificate wording and submission requirements before scheduling.
5. Requesting documentation
To request a certificate of insurance, provider identification, or license information relevant to a planned project, contact dispatch with the service address, project description, building or certificate requirements, requesting party, and desired completion date. Allow reasonable processing time, especially for customized certificate requests.
